On 9 October, 2018 at 12:00 at the International Exhibition Centre

(15 Brovarskyi Ave., hall No.1, entrance 2-A, Kyiv)

will host a ceremony of the official opening of

the 15th Arms & Security 2018 International Specialized Exhibition,

the 11th Aviasvit XXI International Aviation and Space Salon, and

the 17th Protection Technology/Fire Safety 2018 International Specialized Exhibition


Participants: members of the Government, management of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Economic Development, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, other agencies, the Kyiv City Council, Ukroboronprom State-Owned Company, representatives of foreign delegations.

Attention! On 09.10.2018, the exhibition may be entered only by those holding official identity cards of law enforcement agencies, public servants, members of delegations placed on the official lists of enterprises and organizations, and accredited journalists.


Registration, delivery of badges to accredited media representatives: 9.10.2018 at entrance 2-А from 10.00 to 11.30 (a map of how to get to the opening ceremony place is attached).

You must have: an editorial identity card or an official letter of the editorial staff specifying the journalist’s full name and passport.


Exhibitions are held according to the Decrees of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Exhibition’s goals: contributing to the defense industry development, improving the technical equipment of the army, law enforcement agencies, emergency responding forces; promoting Ukrainian military equipment, weapons, aviation and space products in the global market; developing international military and technical cooperation, improving equipment of private security companies.


Exhibitions held in the single format helped them reach a well-reputed international business and scientific forum dedicated to all the state security aspects. So, in terms of its scale, this event will be a major event in this area over all the years of Ukraine’s independence: a surface area of over 30 thousand sq. m. will host almost 500 companies from 17 countries of the world. Over 60 natural-size samples of machines, including water craft and 11 samples of aircraft, will be presented to experts. The exhibitions will be visited by the official delegations of defense agencies from eleven countries.


Achievements of the defense, aviation and space complexes of Ukraine will be presented by over 380 participants in the following format: 1 – exhibits of Ukroboronprom State-Owned Company (over 50 enterprises), League of Defense Enterprises of Ukraine NGO, State Space Agency of Ukraine; 2 – exhibits of the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Education, and Security Service of Ukraine; 3 – stands of state-owned and private firms. In this way, all the leading plants of Ukraine producing armored machines, flagships of the military-industrial complex such as Motor Sich PJSC, Antonov SOC, Makarov Southern Engineering Plant, Pivdenne Design Bureau, Ivchenko-Progress Design Bureau, Artem State-Owned Joint-Stock Holding Company, Kuznia na Rybalskomy plant, and others will be presented. Participants will present the results of implementation of the NATO standards in the manufacture of military products and high export capacities of Ukraine’s military-industrial complex.


High opportunities of the exhibitions for offering their products in the Ukrainian and international markets helped increase the number of foreign exhibitors. The National Halls of Poland, Turkey, and the Czech Republic were the largest representations; the number of participants from the USA rose as well.


The business program of the exhibitions will encompass 29 meaningful scientific & practical and presentational events. The most interesting and meaningful ones will include: the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Problems of coordination of the military and technical, military and industrial policy in Ukraine. Armament and military equipment development outlook” (Organizers: Central Research Institute of Armament and Military Equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, MVTs LLC), International Scientific and Practical Conference “Relevant problems of aviation equipment development” (State Research Institute of Aviation), Ukrainian and Czech Military and Industrial Forum (Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ukraine), 20th Ukrainian National Scientific and Practical Conference “Current civil protection in Ukraine and its development outlooks” (Civil Protection State Management Institute), Seminars “Systems of fighting against unmanned aircraft”, “Anti-mine operations in Ukraine. Current trends” (Research Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine), “Experience of the NATO states in organizing arms and military equipment procurement, pricing and price control” (Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine), and others.
